There are a couple different approaches to choosing a domain name, but there are also a few things that you should always do. This podcast covers several strategies and things to think about when it comes to choosing a domain name for your website.

Learning How to "Make" the Internet

The news items in today's podcast cover a few things that, in my opinion, all website owners need to at least have a basic grasp of - learning to code. This Week's Website Question

Chris posted a question on the My Website Workshop group about getting some feedback on his site and why he's having issues with high bounce rates and low average visit times.

I've been building a new website, and I have about 20 keywords showing up on the first page of Google for my keywords, so my marketing tactics are working. The problem is, that Google analytics is showing that I have a bounce rate of 77%, with an average duration on site of 1:32. To me this indicates that many people are immediately finding something wrong with my site within the first 10 seconds.
